Pretty & Tough Women continue to make it big for India at the Common Wealth Games ’14


Saluting Rahi Sarnobat, the first Indian pistol shooter to win a gold medal in the Women’s 25-metre pistol event of the Common Wealth Games & the young shooting sensation, Apurvi Chandela bagged a gold medal in women’s shooting in 10m air rifle event in Glasgow. Both their performances at the Common Wealth Games were outstanding and have left many speechless; they deserve all the accolades and appreciation for their victory in doing our country, India proud.

It is a great honor for India to have such women who work with determination and focus; their hard work and struggle certainly did pay off and is visible in their achievement at the most coveted international, multi-sport event. A true inspiration for all you girls to rise and make a mark in society, just like them.
