Let’s face it; back in 90s, we used to follow what our moms used to buy for us and we were content with that. Now, when we turn the pages of various fashion magazines and watch our favorite stars in the movies, we notice a resemblance between what we used to wear back in 90s and what we see the models and actors wearing. It makes us travel down the time-line again, with old memories being refreshed.

Some fashion trends are so relatable and nostalgic that you feel you are picking up from where you left. Yes, so the 90s fashion trends are making a comeback slowly; it’s the next big thing, but again, they have all got a makeover to match the current trends. Anyway, brace yourself for a fashionable trip down the memory lane.

  1. Leather Jackets:

Leather jackets are here to stay. Who doesn’t need a well-fitted jacket to complement the attire and keep oneself cozy in the fall and winter! It is a bit expensive but this thing can actually last for long. Till when? Maybe till the trend fades and returns. No, seriously! It was never a passé because of its durability and the edgy feel that it gives to the outfit.

  1. Dungarees:

They are the hottest pieces of clothing to wear if styled properly. Long or short, it doesn’t matter until you team it well. It did wane into the horizon a little, but it’s on its path to revival in the fashion world with a bang!

  1. Flannel Shirt:

From frayed jeans to flannel shirts they are all coming back in full circle. Shirts that were considered as artifacts of the past fashion trends are making a comeback in the form of layers added to tank or crop tops. You can also just knot them around your waist, yes; this trend is back in vogue.

  1. Monochromes:

Matching sets are more elegant now than being sleek. The neon and patterned sets are bygone now which return in the form of matching sets, seen in the pairs of matching crop top and skirt set, jacket and trouser, etc.

  1.  Loose Shirts:

Over a last decade or so, it was a sin to wear something loose. But, if you rewind into the past trends, the comfortable dressing was their major play where loose shirts and t-shirts paired with boyfriend jeans was considered to be stylish. The loose shirts are making a comeback in the form of shirt dresses, as loose and comfortable as you ever wished them to be.

Initially, when the 90s trend was rolling back in, it seemed to be temporary and a fad that will eventually fade. Surprisingly, that isn’t the case as you see the designers expanding the horizon. One such old-school trend which makes a comeback is the backpack. They leave you amazed with the ease they provide while traveling by holding your stuff safely on your back.

Each of us had one of these hairstyles and passed over them to try something new. They make you feel nostalgic and create the urge to visit them once again. It’s starting to resurface and you will see everyone around flaunting the same. Don’t fall back.
