As the COVID-19 pandemic continues to spread across the world, we are all pulled into a crisis that we had never imagined. The most challenging part however is not being home quarantined but definitely handling the self-isolation that we are forced upon, topping up with work-from-home (WFH) situation. To a certain extent, everyone is in the same boat, but the situation is uniquely unfolding for each of us. To get you through these professional challenge we share with you some easy tips to stay productive at work and maintaining work-life balance.

  1. Dedicate Strict Work Hours

We all tend to get up late, procrastinate and work at our own comfort when at home. This amounts to unfinished work and thus stretching working hours to an extent where it gets really frustrating. The best way to avoid such circumstances is following a strict work hours. Log in at your office hours, supposedly 10 am and complete your work by 7 pm, so that you can give time to yourself and your family.

  • Make a to-do list

The next important thing that you should do is to plan and organize your day-to-day tasks. While in office it’s quite easy to manage and complete work on time, at home with so many distractions it quite difficult to remember a few as well.  So make a to-do list, plan and organize your schedule so that you can deliver the work on time and enjoy your sweet me-time.

  • Find a Dedicated work space

It may be quite tempting to work from your bed, but finding a dedicated work space is very important. Working at your bed for long will cause you back ache and joint pain this making it uneasy to work. Fix a place like your computer desk, or dining table at a right posture work at ease.

  • Commit time for Exercise

It is absolutely necessary to take out time and exercise every day or at least every alternate day. Exercise helps to improve your cognitive function and keeps you energized as well. Thus making the work-from-home process a bit easier.
